Throughout First semester, Design Studio: Experimentations involved us visiting a run down series of terrace houses in Chippendale that were not being inhabited and eventually set to be knocked down. Our final project required us to come up with an imaginary idea which could take place in the space.
I chose to create a mutlicultural learning centre throughout all the buildings which would encourage learning via food and craft. Each set of houses would be a different culture and on the bottom floor would be craft and cooking activities while the upper floor was a food market. Below is my proposed concept done through model making, Vectorworks CAD and Photoshop.
